@Paul, Hi Paul, thanks for your insight on this. I agree, there’s a lot of research that needs to be performed on various dropshippers. Sorry to hear about your past experience with it. In my early business venture, I was selling radio controlled vehicles and using a dropshipper. The prices were highly inflated which didn’t allow me any room for profit as they were already above other retailers. Well, as you may have guessed, the business didn’t last long, and I quickly moved on to better things.

Good post, well done. Dropshipping is not so easy though. It needs some heavy research to ensure you get the right people. There’s plenty of guys out there claiming to be dropshippers who are just buying from wholesalers and shipping when they receive an order.
There’s two points I’d like to add if I may. One is ensure the prices from the dropshipper are genuine wholesale prices, and secondly make sure they actually carry the stock. I used a dropshipper once, when I gave them an order they told me there was a four week wait for the product. This caused me a lot of trouble with the customer and could have effected my feedback if I hadn’t engaged in a lot of heavy diplomacy. The dropshipper I was using obviously wasn’t carrying all the stock they claimed to be carrying.
I dropped the dropshipping model and switched to wholesale buying. I feel safer being in control.

That is really interesting. My view points are kind of similar but not exactly the same. Although I haven't really tried getting into EBay marketing.
