Legitimate Worldwide Work From Home Opportunities
We finally get to the end of our struggling internet marketer series (not that I was in any hurry), where I answered a key question yesterday about driving traffic and generating sales.
This post is going to cover the second question:
Is there another cool way of making money online from __________ (Wherever you are in the world)?
It’s a very good question, especially when so many people around the world are looking for a different way of making money than what they’re used to. Or, because of the global economic crisis, they have nothing and need a way to support their family.
In any case, there are many different legitimate work from home opportunities that are truly global opportunities.
Here are a couple posts I’ve written about various opportunities that I highly recommend:
Now, there are some other global opportunities I’ve tried firsthand but haven’t gotten around to writing about yet. I’ll simply post the links below, but keep on the lookout for when I do finally get around to reviewing them…
My Affiliate Power Site – A new opportunity created by my mentors that allows you to earn 6 streams of income from reputable businesses. It’s very new… only about 2 weeks into the launch, which is why I haven’t gotten a chance to write about it yet.
Online Data Entry Jobs – This one is great and is actually how I got into proofreading. It’s not your average “data entry” crap you usually see. It provides many different options out there depending on what interests you. A lot of training is provided for each area. Just so happened that I was already interested in proofreading before I checked this program out, and after, I was motivated and pointed in the right direction to get it going.
Each opportunity I listed is unique in it’s own way. I advise that you check each one out individually and see if it’s something that you think will work for you.
Be advised that there is no such thing as “get rich quick” and these opportunities don’t support that way of thinking. You will be required to actually work and put in months of time before you see any kind return. The amount of time it will take before you see income coming in will depend on your level of focus, determination and amount of time you spend making it work.
Of course, if you don’t find what you’re looking for here, you can just as well do a search on Google. There’s only a billion other opportunities out there that you’ve never heard of. Just be warned there are many scams out there. The opportunities I listed are legitimate and proven to work.
As always, do your own due diligence when researching work from home opportunities.

Alan,
A great couple of articles you have posted over the last couple of days. Obviously keyword rich back links are key to search engine rankings and you mention some good ways to generate them. I lean towards article marketing with keywords in the resource as this gives me traffic (fingers crossed!) and that all important link. I also use PR however sometimes I find it difficult to actually get my keywords in a press release as a link on the ‘free’ sites.
One thing I do notice with all of these things is the need for patience! As it seems like it simply takes an age to see the positive effects of article marketing, and blog posting where keywords are allowed i.e. keyword luv.

@Paul,
Yes, I still recommend article marketing and placing your link in the resource box. If you write a really good article it can bring in a lot of traffic. Also, if you build backlinks to your article it will rank higher and help your link at the same time.
I noticed the same thing as well when it came to PR’s. They’re better than nothing, though.
Yes, patience is key, and something I struggle with daily… LOL.
Great to have you as a reader, Paul.

Alan,
You are right that there are many, many, ways to make money on-line or so the gurus tell you. I am into information overload with all the programs and teachings that are being pasted around. I hope I can wade my way through this soon. I need to stick to one thing only. Easier said than done.

@Deb Porter, Welcome to my blog.
I know how you feel. It’s easy to get sidetracked and lose focus on just one thing when they’re so many people promoting this and that. Go with your gut instinct and what feels right, and always do some research first.

I don’t really actively try to find ways to get more income online, but of course more income is always good. Not sure if I’m up to the hassle of actually setting stuff up though. lol

I work from home , well sort of. I have to go out shopping for a living. I was thnking of trying to get my husband to look at affiliate marketing on the intenet but not sure where he would be the best place to start for him.
He’s okay with computers, a wizard with PowerPoint!
Any ideas?

@alison@Secret Shopper Employment,
I guess a good place to start would be to see what his interests are. Since he has strong skills working with PowerPoint, perhaps he could do some sort of freelance work.
I see a lot of videos these days that are created using PowerPoint. Maybe he could start there.

In those 4 opportunities you have mentioned in your article. What do you think is the best way to make money online?

@Angie Flores@oldhickoryassociation,
There honestly isn’t any “best” way to make money online. It really depends on what your skills and interests are and how much you’re willing to learn.
If you don’t want a website, I recommend looking at Flip Switch Profits and Online Data Entry Jobs. If you do want a website and build a long-term online presence, I recommend looking at SFI and My Affiliate Power Site.
If you have any more questions feel free to comment, or you can email me directly.

Proof reading is a great opportunity for not only the traditional student who needs some cash, but you can actually forge a great earner by freelancing with many companies. The internet business is certainly coming of age.

@Christine@Home-based Marketing,
Completely agree, Christine. I’ve been proofreading for various clients for 2 years now. It’s rewarding and profitable.

Great article and I agree that there are many opportunities for online working from home options. This is favored for the semi retired, or the home maker who is looking to make a little extra income. However, there is also a real opportunity to make a good living, that allows flexibility to suit your own lifestyles.

Alan, it seems you’ve found a diamond out of coal mine. If that site is really not a scam and is paying you then it’s alright but there are hundreds of sites out there cleverly designed to trick people and take their money, that’s why I would advise people to do some research before taking on memberships on such sites.

@Dylan@Small Cap Stocks,
Yes, scams are out there, unfortunately. Good advice as well.
I know many data entry sites that are scams, but the site I link to here is completely different in a lot of ways. I’ve also talked to the owner of the site on more than one occasion.

Good ideas!
I got into affiliate marketing over a year ago to which I’m now totally hooked! I love working for myself from home. I also like the idea of doing secret shopping, and other consulting work.
Heck, ideally I’d love to write an e-book with my background as an Employment Counselor and then market that with my new online marketing skills!
Your site here will pop ideas into the minds of many wanting to work from home! I will also bookmark it.
Cheers,
Kat

@Kat @ Jobs as a Secret Shopper,
I’m totally hooked, too! I love affiliate marketing and think it’s one of the easiest ways to get started in this business.
That would be an excellent idea now that you know how to market online. Ideally I hope to do the same down the road. When you do write your e-book, let us know!
Thanks so much for commenting, Kat! Have a Happy New Year!

@Tendai,
Depends. There are all kinds of opportunities available. What kind of work are you looking to do?

I agree that there are legitimate sites where one can work on a freelance basis, I’ve hired a couple and since then I’ve felt that outsourcing is one fantastic idea. Affiliate programs also promise a six figure income but I believe without working hard one cannot earn.

Making a living that also includes flexibility of your time and location is available to many. Internet marketing is becoming a popular strategy for companies undertaking their sales or promotional campaigns.

And with so many freelancers and marketers out there, taking on companies’ marketing efforts is a no-brainer.
