My Interview on The Lynn Johnson Motivational Radio Show
Today I had the opportunity to do an interview with Lynn Johnson, who hosts The Lynn Johnson Motivational Radio Show. Lynn is a certified Life/Executive Coach, award winning and internationally acclaimed motivational speaker, and beloved radio personality and producer.
It was an honor and privilege to be on the show and showcase this website and blog, as today’s show dealt with the topic of working from home.
I encourage you to watch the show when you get a chance. It’s an hour long, and packed full of great advice and tips. In this specific show, Lynn talks about:
- Advantages/Disadvantages of working from home
- How to deal with kids while working at home
- SEO and PPC after one of my comments during the interview
- And so much more.
Today’s Show
Here’s the video to today’s show. My interview comes in at approximately 19:40.
I also encourage you to check out The Lynn Johnson Motivational Radio Show, where Lynn hosts a new show every Tuesday at 11:00 AM EST.
This was my first experience at doing anything like this, so I wasn’t sure what to expect or how it would go. I had typed out a complete script beforehand, but it turned out I didn’t even use it. I just went with the flow, and I was pretty pleased with how it turned out.
Your Thoughts
What did you think of today’s show? Learn anything new?
Do you like Lynn’s personality and vibrancy she brings to the show? I know I do!

Hey, Alan:
Good job on the radio interview! Lynn is a very good host and interviewer and you handled her questions well. You stayed focused on the basics and gave Lynn’s listeners some good ideas and tips to think about.
Good job on attracting Lynn’s attention so that she invited you onto her show! That’s what branding is all about – getting the attention of your target market in way you can, and radio is an awesome way to do it!

@gtbulmer@AffiliateHomeBusiness,
Thank you so much for the kind words, GT! It was an honor for Lynn to have me on the show, and I’m hoping to have more opportunities like this in the future.
In fact, I had the pleasure of doing two video interviews recently with a couple of really cool guys in the network marketing industry. I’ll be posting them probably early next year when they’re ready. Branding and getting your target’s attention is definitely part of this business.
Thanks again!

Good interview Alan and hope you received a lot of visitors to your site and blog. I think working at home is now a more viable option than before thanks to the difficult economy. It does offer many people who have lost their jobs a good alternative business to consider. The success rate for IM businesses in the past has been generally poor so hopefully this will change with more people treating their new found opportunities more seriously if they don’t have a full time job to rely on anymore.

@Peter@how to make money blogging,
Thanks, Peter! I agree, the ability to work from home is more prevalent than ever, and that people need to be serious about it if they want to achieve any kind of success.
