The thing that you have to remember when you’re working in a home office is to focus on your work during work hours. I’m not saying that you should work straight. You should take a break every once in a while, but not too much. The infographic shared some pretty cool colors, too. Might as well use some of those.

I hadn’t considered how the colors around me would affect my work focus. In all honesty though, I was expecting more from this infographic. There were some interesting stats, but not enough actionable tips to really create the ultimate home office.

Creating the right environment for your home office is quite important. I think one of the biggest things for me is to eliminate distractions. This means I have to have a door that I can shut and have peace and quiet where I can focus on my work.

Just loving infographics at the moment.
Wish I was a bit more of graphics person as I would have a go at knocking a few up.
Getting back to this one and I was interested to find out that the colours of my office walls evoke a sense of security. Should keep them pesky burglars away then.

Good vibes start with a good environment. This post recognizes the fact that workstations should serve as a haven that will boost your mood. Once the mood is set, working is at ease regardless the difficulty of the tasks.

Your home office should also carry the atmosphere of what does it take to be in a corporate office. With that, you should set a portion of your house that is purely for working purposes only. SO that when time comes that you want to take a break, you just have to go the other side of your room.
