Twitter TweetMe Plugin Installed – ReTweet My Posts
I’m not a huge Twitter user, personally, as I don’t spend hours at a time chatting with my fellow tweets. I guess you could say I don’t use it for its intended use of socializing with others and building relationships. I make occasional updates about what I’m doing or thinking, but I don’t usually chat with anyone.
Nonetheless, I can’t ignore the fact that Twitter can bring in a lot of traffic. Twitter does have many advantages, and I continue to get more and more followers daily. Because of this, I use a service to automatically post my blog updates to my Twitter account.
As a marketer I try to capatalize on my efforts to get as much traffic with as little effort as possible. I’m sure others could agree that they strive to do the same. What better way to do this than to have others help bring you more traffic? That’s what the TweetMeMe WordPress plugin is designed to do. You may notice a little box above every post showing how many tweets that post has. There’s also a little green rectangle that says “ReTweet.”
If you find my posts useful and would like to share them with your fellow followers on Twitter, you can simply click that button at the top of the post to ReTweet it. Of course, you’ll have to have a Twitter account first. You can sign up for free here.
Also, be sure to follow me on Twitter at @AMater.
If you realize the true potential of social media and how sites like Twitter are gaining a foothold in the marketing world, you may want to consider adding this plugin, or a similar one, to your own blog.

OMG…so your one of those that don’t engage in conversation. I am not sure how helpful it really is to have your tweets set to auto pilot. I literally go on to twitter and every other tweets is some auto piloted account so then I think to myself how helpful can this really be when no one is actually using twitter. If everyone is autopilot then no one could really be reading your tweets. I personally have started deleting all of the auto tweeters. I believe in being engaging and getting to know your audience even on twitter. I told someone the other day on their I don’t come on here to feel like I am trapped in a room with a bunch of telemarketers I use it to network (real network) where you actually get to know people and have some dialogue and then want to visit your site. They don’t feel like that is all you want from them. Well that is my 2cents!!

@Danielle,
Hmm… I’m curious how you came to the conclusion that I’m just another “auto tweeter” because I have my blog posts automatically posted to Twitter.
I invite you to follow me on Twitter at @AMater, and you may come to a different conclusion.
Anyway, thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to provide your input. Hope you’ll stick around and see something you like.

Great tips I didn’t know wordpress had that kind of plugin.I’m definetly going to check that out. Twitter is a great way to generate traffic to any website or blog so any way to automate the process has to be great.

@Chris@TheSocialNetworkIncomeQueen,
There are quite a few plug-ins like this now. Twitter even has their own RT plug-in. All work well and do the same thing. I recommend using one of them to make it easy for your readers to RT your posts.
Thanks for taking the time to comment, and I hope you’ll stick around.
