Laugh A Little – Get Free Daily Web Cartoons
If you remember my very first post of 2010, I wanted to start off the new year with something a little different. I wanted to add some humor into the mix, since laughter is good for the soul. So, I wrote Work From Home Cartoon Humor, and I got some nice comments from my readers who enjoyed reading the comical cartoons.
Well, just recently I was contacted by Dan Rosandich of DansCartoons.com who just happens to be a cartoonist. Dan lives in Michigan and creates cartoons for a living. He stumbled on my post and contacted me about doing a follow-up post about his work.
I’m more than happy to spread the word about Dan’s work. He certainly has a knack for art and humor, two things I most certainly appreciate.
What’s cool is that all of Dan’s cartoons are available to add to a website via a small script of code. And, for all of you Wordpress users out there, Dan even has a Wordpress Plug-in that will help in adding his cartoons automatically into your blog.
Dan’s web cartoons are syndicated across the web including online newspapers. If you go to Dan’s Wordpress plugin download page you’ll notice that the plugin has been downloaded over 600 times. Not to mention many websites use his script instead to pull his cartoon feed.
I’m a big advocate for laughter, and I think it’s important to take a break every once in a while and find something that will make you laugh. It’s actually a good medicine!
Head on over to Dan’s site and see what all he has going on. If you like some of his work, let him know and tell him I sent you. He’ll be glad to hear from you.
Of course, if you think any of his cartoons would be a good fit for your website, either use his script or download his Wordpress plugin to add them.
I’m glad and honored to have the opportunity to showcase Dan and his work on my blog. I always appreciate other people’s talents and the hard work they’ve put into making their dreams and passions a reality.

Alan: I appreciate your profiling the availability of my cartoons. Aside from my daily web cartoon I make available to webmasters around the globe, I provide “custom” cartooning services: http://www.danscartoons.com/custom_cartoons.htm which are ideal for those who seek a colorized personal cartoon logo or image to help identify themselves for the visitors to their web sites.
Ryan’s mention of laughter being food for the soul, can’t be emphasized enough. Anyone who stumbles upon my work can license my cartoons for blogs or books….you name it. Don’t hesitate to contact me with any specific questions. Keep up your great and informative site. All the best . . .

I don’t have one linked from the blog… lol. I have contact info on my “About” page and a link to my contact page from the “Advertise” page. But, I guess you can’t see those links anyway.
I’ll send you an email and see if we can get this sorted out.
Just out of curiosity, what browser are you using?

@Alan Mater, People actually say I always look happy. I have a lot problems but I don’t let those get the better of me.
I do believe struggles can help one become a better person. You fall a few times but at the end of the day you stand up wiser.

Good for you, man! It’s all about attitude and how we choose to react to our circumstances. Happiness, or unhappiness is all a state of mind.

Good to see people realize the value of humor and how a daily web cartoon can add value to the content of almost any web page or home page. The stats on my daily web cartoon plugin for WordPress is nearing 700 so it seems as though quite a few people like cartoons. Thanks for considering and keep up the good web building!
