Planning is essential, which is why I haven’t even started any campaigns… I’m still in the planning phase. Once the campaign starts, I will monitor the CPC and ROI to determine whether it will be worth continuing after the $100 is depleted. If not, I will pause the campaign.

Since I’m not paying the $100 out of my own pocket, there’s no worry if the campaign flops. Although, I’m going to do my best to make it successful, which is why I’m still planning.

that $100 in advertising is nothing compared to the huge expenses you will be having once you exceed the $100. better be wise and make a plan before you start any campaigns.

@Alan Mater, That’s actually one of the few things I haven’t spent time reading about. I read about a lot of things but that’s one thing I decided that I’ll read when I am more established. You on the other hand have pretty much established your PR 4 blog. I can’t wait to rank, there’s so many things I want to try in action!

LOL… I’m sure a lot of people get these, but only if you’ve advertised with them in the past. I have another 4 or 5 laying here on my desk to try out once I’ve used up my original $100.

I actually saw a lot of these around before, so you’re not really that special yeah, (I’m just bitter yeah >_< I want a card too! hahaha) but I can't expect to get one as I have not run a campaign ever. LOLOL Maybe once I rank and stuff I'd start one.

They keep mailing them to me. I just got another $100 coupon recently. I have about 4 now that I haven’t checked or used because I’m still sitting on the original $100 code I redeemed. I need to use that one up first (hopefully soon).

In order to claim and activate the code, you’ll have to log into your Adwords account, click on the Billing tab and go to Billing Preferences. At the bottom of the page there will be a place to enter your promo code. After you enter it, hit redeem. If it works, your account will be credited with the amount on the card.

Really? you did get one I didn’t have any idea of this that google sends some free money. I’ll just ask how can you spend that 100$ and how can you claim it? I’m also quite interested to get 100$

Lucky you. Google at times give a $50 dollar coupon while we setup a new account. Few months back they were promoting Adwords & gave free campaign setup service.
