Affiliate Marketing is the New Job on the Market
With the economy still way below normal and jobless rates not seeing a high increase, people are still looking for new job opportunities, both offline and online.
When I lost my job in 2008, I decided to start building an online presence and get a proofreading portfolio together. I wanted to provide a valuable service to others and build up a clientele. At the same time I hammered down on my online business and tried to learn as much as I could about internet marketing. I knew there was money to be made online, and there still is.
That’s why I truly believe that affiliate marketing is the new job on the market. Trillions of dollars are being spent online, and as an affiliate, you can claim your share.
Affiliate marketing is by far the easiest and most lucrative business model, so it’s no wonder why you see so many new affiliates these days. I imagine that there are many people looking for something different, just like I was when I lost my job.
I wanted this post to be a little different, so instead of me rambling on about stuff you may or may not already know, I thought I’d make it extremely easy for you to find all of my posts related to affiliate marketing.
So, simply click the link below:

Alan first off well done for giving quality content away, you will reap the rewards.
Affiliate marketing is fantastic because of the low overheads and because you are on a level playing field.
The biggest issue seems to be that people give up too early. Perhaps you could do a post on staying motivated?

I’m planning another blog post on motivation and will be posting it shortly.

Alan thanks for the quality post. Affiliate marketing is an exciting way to make a living and there are actually too many opportunities at the moment. One of the keys to success is getting decent traffic which I’m sure you have covered here somewhere. I will search and find the relevant article.

I am a fan of adsense using micro niche marketing, but I can see the appeal of affiliate marketing. I think the real key is building a list to market to- then release your own products later…..

@Paul,
I know a few that are into micro niche marketing. I haven’t tried it myself as you need many sites to bring in a good amount of income, but yes, it’s quite possible. How are you doing with it?
Building a list is the way to go, and you don’t have to promote your own products or even create them later on if you’re happy promoting others for commissions.
Thanks for visiting and providing your input.

Hi Alan,
Yes its going well- I have a few site running- I have just about got the process down, from research, to domain, to promotion (outsourcing is better that doing yourself)
Its a slow process but Google pays on time and consistently!
I am planning to build a list into the process, usiong a single list accross all niches, using CPA ofers in it.
Goal is to have 600 sites, each making $100 per month………

@Paul,
Great to hear. Yeah, I’ve noticed that Google is very consistent with their payments, which is a plus for affiliates.
CPA offers are a good idea.
That’s a big goal, but I have no doubt you’ll be able to reach it with some hard work and focus.
