Google Adsense Alternative – Yarie.com
I’ve been running Google Adsense ads on my website for well over a year now. I’ve made a decent amount of money from it so far, but not enough to get overly excited about. I know many who make a living from Adsense alone, but there are those who would rather use an Adsense alternative.
If you’re currently using Google Adsense, or perhaps Google banned your account (read this post by Peter Lee to find out how to prevent it from happening to you), and you’re looking for an alternative to Adsense, you may be interested in Yarie.com.
Yarie doesn’t automatically generate content related ads like Google Adsense, but instead, the ad categories are pre-chosen for you based on the niche of your website. For example, my site is geared towards the work from home and make money online niche. The categories that they choose would revolve around the niche, sort of like a sub-niche, if you will.
The best example of this would be on this site. If you go to my Replace Your Salary home page, look at the top right sidebar, and you’ll notice the heading “Real Online Jobs.” Below the heading are online job categories, which are the ads.
There’s not as much customization available to you as there is with Google Adsense ads, but so far I’ve seen good results. I’ve been running these ads from Yarie for two months now, which have actually made me more money than my Adsense ads.
Check out the screenshot below of my earnings for the past two months of using Yarie:

It’s not a whole lot, but consider the fact that this is completely automated, and I do nothing extra.
Setup is easy as well, although a little more complicated than with Adsense. You’ll have a piece of code to place anywhere on your site that you want the ads to show up, just like with Adsense. The difference is that you’ll also have to create another web page and upload it to your server. Details will be given to you and are easy to follow.
Once you’re setup, you’ll want to place the ads as close to the top of your page as possible. The closer to the top, the better the click-through-rate you’re going to get.
Right now I only have Yarie ads on my home page, and as I said, they’re performing better than my Adsense ads that I have on many different pages. I believe Yarie is a very good Google Adsense alternative, and I will continue to use them.
**UPDATE**
Moments after writing this review, I got a check in the mail in the amount of $43.20 for July’s earnings. See scan below:

Alan,
Thanks for the link love. It seems to be a good alternative and I’ll be checking it up. I tried to take a look at the ads but somehow it is showing a blank portion under ‘Real Online Jobs’ Why is that. Does it take sometime to load.

@Home Business Blog, Sure thing, Peter.
It takes a few seconds to load. They’re generated using JavaScript, so perhaps there might be an issue there? They load for me just fine. Let me know if you do see them. Thanks!

wow, I will try this if I have my own blog site.

@Glass Beads, Which hopefully will be soon
. I like this company a lot and have emailed the owner back and forth for quite some time now. I’m getting a pretty decent CTR.

Alan,
It’s the same problem as I’m seeing a blank space and I just sent you an email with the image to let you see. Think it must be because of the javascript. What do I have to install or reinstall?

@Home Business Blog, Hey Peter, it might be something with your browsers. Check your browser settings and see if the browser is blocking the script from running. Other than that I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe you don’t have Java installed at all. Do other scripts show up for you from other sites that have Java running?
I sent you an email back with an image of what they look like.

@Home Business Blog, Here’s what I found out, Peter. The ads are only supported in certain countries, and i noticed that Singapore isn’t one of them. I’m not sure the reason for this.

Alan,
I forgot to mention when I was at Yarie site I submitted my application. It’s been 2 days with no news. Tell me how long does it take to get approved for you at least.

@Home Business Blog, I’m not sure Peter. They actually contacted me about it, so I didn’t go through the application process.

Good to see a bit of competition in the market. I personally think adsense doesn’t pay enough, so if enough alternatives pop up then we should see a change in that.

@Ste@PS3 Consoles, Well, I’ve noticed that it depends a lot on the keyword. Some keywords will bring in a lot more money per click than others. I’ve gotten over $2 per click, and other times I’m lucky to get $0.10. So it just depends.
I do like Yarie so far and will continue to run their ads.

I had never heard of this advertising company, but from seeing your earnings’ screenshots it appears that the CPC is quite good. I would try it on my financial related website and see the outcome!
Thanks,

@fuelmech,
Nice to hear your input on this. I’ve experienced exactly the same thing. My Yarie income is always more than Adsense every month.

Did anyone had any good experince with this website?
I mean since i never heard about it before up untill now most people didn’t hear about it too.
I just want to know how may webmasters are running their scripts and how many advertisers are there?

@Mike Jason@SEO Software,
It’s not a well-known company for sure. I make an average of $35 a month running their ads on my site, and that’s just on my home page.
I can’t answer your last two questions, but maybe if you contact them they’ll be willing to answer them. Tell them I sent you.

I recently came across your blog and was curious about Yarie. I looked at your page at ReplaceYourSalary and saw the heading “Real Online Jobs.” It looks sort of like a directory, not obvious ads. I like it and will use Yarie on my sites, too. Thanks for letting us know about it.

@Avraam,
I actually like them better than Adsense.
Let me know how you make out with them.

Alan, nice trick you’ve used on that sidebar
Anyways, in my opinion it’s always good to put your eggs in different baskets. No doubt Adsense is good but their TOS is very tough and if you cross it once, you may never get a chance again so it’s important to keep hunting for other alternatives too and set them up well so you can earn more.

@Dylan@Penny Stock Investing,
Funny you mention it because come the end of November I’ll no longer be using Yarie. Apparently they have an $80 monthly minimum you have to earn that I didn’t know about previously and just found out from the owner. I looked at their TOS, and sure enough it’s in there. I was never told about it before, but oh well.
It was great while it lasted. I’ll probably just link to product reviews I’ve written here on the blog from that sidebar.
I agree… Adsense should be used with caution because Google is rather unforgiving.
