Domain thefts and content thefts are on the rise and sometimes I feel that its just so shameless to steal contents without attribution. Its really sad that there are no strict rules to look into this matter. Other than approaching the website owner or the provider to request to pull down the content I guess the original author cannot do much.

Great question, Vince!

Here’s your answer straight from Google: “Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic.”

Basically, you can setup a pre-defined list of searches (keywords, website addresses, etc.) that you want to be notified about. Anytime Google comes across these words as it’s crawling new content, it will categorize the results and send you an email with all the websites that come up for those searches.

You can set your own alerts up by going to http://www.google.com/alerts.

I setup alerts for my name and website addresses that I own.

@Computer Work At Home, Hi Kha, I know what you mean. Keeping up with a blog is time consuming plus writing other articles and doing everything else on top of that. I may have Jeff write some articles for me at some point as well if I feel I can’t keep up with everything.

Hi Alan, It's hard to write everyday for blog and I am sure I am not able to keep up doing that. I usually do the same as Phil that using articles provide by Jeff S. and rewriting them. @Phil, Jeff does excellent work, and good idea in re-writing them to make them more unique. I also find writing a bit difficult; although, the more you do it the easier it becomes. I’m sure you’ll find that the Free Traffic System works wonders and will have a positive impact on your backlink building.
