If you liked my last post on Free Keyword Research, then you’re going to like this post even more. I created another video to show you a very cool way to determine whether the keywords you’re using are keywords that people are searching for with the intent to buy something.

Sounds awesome, right? I know that if you could rank your website for a keyword phrase that people search for to find stuff to buy, that you’d make more money. That’s the whole purpose of this amazing free tool.

Check out the video to learn more…

Here’s the link that I referred to in the video:

adlab.microsoft.com/Online-Commercial-Intention/

Let me know what you think!

After reading the title you’re probably thinking there’s no way that keyword research can be easy, let alone free. I think that too many people make keyword research a lot harder than it has to be. And, while paid tools are great when researching keywords, I think that for the majority of people they’re not needed.

What IS needed though is knowing how to do some basic keyword research when you’re looking to rank your articles, blog posts, and web pages on the first page of Google.

Keyword research is essential, and it’s a lot easier than you might think. I put together a video explaining how you can use a free tool to find “golden nuggets” that are going to provide the traffic you need. Follow that up with a little research on your competition, and you’ll be well on your way to getting a top 10 listing.

Once you find the keywords you want to use, remember to include those keywords when building backlinks to that article, blog post or web page. That’s how you’re going to build up your rankings in the search engines.

And, speaking of backlinks, the two methods of backlink building I recommend to get the fastest results is using Angela and Paul’s backlink building services. They are worth every penny and can produce massive results.

I hope with this little tip you’ll be able to bring in more traffic and sales for your online business.

By now you should know how effective article marketing is for your online business. However, there’s another way in which you can use your articles that a lot of people overlook or never think of.

There are thousands if not hundreds of thousands of ezines (electronic magazines) available on the internet. In fact, if you have an email list of subscribers, then essentially you own an ezine. And I’m guessing you provide your subscribers with useful ezine articles on a regular basis.

Keeping this in mind, have you ever found it difficult to keep creating ezine articles to send to your list? A lot of successful ezines have been around for years and have tens of thousands of subscribers. That’s a long time to try to keep creating ezine articles to keep the subscribers interested.

So, what does an ezine owner do in this case? It’s very simple. They allow other people to submit ezine articles to them which will be sent to their subscribers. Can you see the possibilities here?

This opens the doorway for you to get your message out there to thousands of people that might have never known about you otherwise. This is absolutely huge!

Here’s how it works…

You first find ezines that are related to what you do or what you provide. If you own a website or online business, then find ezines related to that. Next thing you’ll want to do is contact the ezine owner and ask if you could write articles for their ezine on a weekly basis.

If they agree, you’ve just set up a very good proposition for yourself. Now all you have to do is create an article every week for that ezine. It shouldn’t be very difficult as you should already be familiar with the niche.

Now, the most important part is to then create an “about the author” section at the end of your articles. This only has to be one or two sentences about yourself, what you do and what you provide. Of course, you’ll want to leave a link to your website so that the readers can check it out.

This results in getting interested people to visit your website. The goal is to get them to subscribe to your ezine (newsletter), make a purchase, fill out a form, click a link, etc. You want them to take action!

Ezine articles can be an effective way to promote your website and should be part of your overall marketing strategy. Now, a problem with this is that it can take a lot of time to search for and find related ezines.

I recommend you use the Directory of Ezines to find ezines to write articles for. Not all ezines will allow article submissions, but the Directory of Ezines has an awesome search interface that will allow you to search for only ezines that do. There are many other search parameters as well, including categories, specific keywords, ezines that allow solo ads and more.

There are many perks to becoming a member of the Directory of Ezines, especially if you become a lifetime member, which is what I am. At least check it out and see if it’s right for you.

No matter how you find potential ezines to partner with, just remember, this is free advertising for your website that has a lot of positive potential, so don’t ignore it. Ezine articles can have a huge impact on your online business.

Getting quality, high PR one way backlinks to your website is critical, and Paul Johnson has provided a way for us to do just that for a very nominal fee. He’s done the hard work in finding these sites. All we have to do is go create our links and watch our rankings increase. It really is that easy.

Sound too good to be true?

Honestly, you should at least know a little about SEO, but if you’re looking for ways to build one way backlinks to your site to improve your search engines, I’m going to assume you already do. These backlink packets that Paul has created are excellent and work well.

Paul provides two separate backlink packets, one containing 50 backlinks, and the other containing 100. Both are identical except for the number of sites provided.

Each backlink packet provides a list of 50 High Page Rank (PR) websites each and every month that you can go to and create a backlink pointing to your site or sites. Most of the sites range from PR 4 and 5 sites, as well as higher PR sites.

The more one-way backlinks pointing to your site from high PR sites, the higher your website will rank in Google for that keyword phrase.

What Do These Packets Contain Exactly?

Based on the comments left here, it is clear that there is a misconception about what these packets really are and what they contain.

I will try to be as clear as possible, and this is also clearly explained on Paul’s site when you go to either of the links below.

These packets only contain a list of sites and instructions for getting high PR backlinks. You are responsible for creating every link. You are not paying Paul to create the links for you. These are not paid links!

The links will be natural and not spammy in any way, shape or form.

I hope that’s clear enough if you’re just now reaching this page. If not, just leave a comment with your questions, and I’ll be happy to answer.

Post Google Panda/Penguin Update

I’ve been asked if these will still work after the current Google Panda/Penguin update, so I decided to include this in the post as well if you’re just now reading.

The simple answer is, YES, these still work very well even after the Panda/Penguin update. However, it is your responsibility to use discretion as to whether you use keywords, naked links, etc. when creating your links.

If you have any questions about how the updates affect link building or any other questions related to the recent Google changes (April-May 2012), just ask.

Remember, you need high PR backlinks to your site. Google still ranks websites based on the number and types of backlinks. These types of backlinks associated with Paul’s link packets should be used in your link building portfolio, but I highly recommend getting other types of links as well.

I personally use Paul’s services with excellent results and is why I recommend you do the same.

The creator of CommentLuv, Andy Bailey, has created another awesome plugin for WordPress called TwitterLink Comments.

Basically what this plugin does is allow commentators to type in their Twitter user name. Once the comment is left, a “Follow Me” link will appear next to the commentator’s name. This allows readers to be able to follow them on Twitter easily if they find their comment useful.

If you look below the comment box you will notice a blue rectangular box with an input field. You can just enter your Twitter user name here once, and the link will show next to every comment you make from then on. Cool, huh?

To read all about the plugin check out the post: http://wpmu.org/twitterlink-comments-hassle-free-follow-me-links-for-your-commenters/.

I’ve installed this plugin because I know how popular Twitter is and hopefully this will be a way for you, my readers, to get more exposure and more followers.

With in that in mind, this means you need to comment! Yes, another reasoning to my madness is I’m looking for more of my readers to comment on my posts. Sounds crazy, right?

Hey, you help me, and I’ll help you get more followers. Commenting is a win-win situation. I even have Andy’s CommentLuv installed, too, so you can use your keywords as part of your name. If you find my posts useful, or even if you don’t, I’d love to hear about it.

So now there’s absolutely no reason not to comment. :D

trafficTraffic Exchanges are still used by many Internet Marketers to build targeted website traffic. They’re great if you want to get a lot of traffic in very short amount of time. I use them myself from time to time and have learned a bit about how to use them to be most effective.

This post is the continuation to my post yesterday which covered the basic idea of Increasing Web Traffic Using Traffic Exchanges.

When it comes to traffic exchanges, you must know that not all are created equal. That is, not all are the same, and not all are going to produce the same results. It’s just the nature of traffic exchanges, so don’t dwell on this fact.

Instead, let’s focus on what you can do to get the best results. I’m also going to point you to a resource that covers the top 100 traffic exchanges and also has a cool built-in system to help you build your downline.

If you plan on using a traffic exchange, it would be a good idea to know how popular it is and what kind of results you can expect to get out of it. Normally this would be hard to know without first using it and doing some testing. Well, thankfully we can know beforehand we dive in and waste our time on a traffic exchange that might not give us the results we’re looking for.

Let’s face it, if I’m going to spend my time surfing for credits, I want that to be time well spent and know I’m going to get some sort of return out of it. It doesn’t have to be a monetary return by any means, but I better see some positive results.

The best way to use traffic exchanges, in my opinion, is to promote a splash/squeeze page that builds your email list. That’s what I do, and that’s what most all other marketers are going to tell you.

Now, perhaps maybe you have a brand new, never before seen system, and you’re trying to get some exposure to it. If you can create a catchy headline or have a very short sales page, then yeah, you might have a chance.

But, I would say your focus should be to build your email list and get more subscribers that you can promote your business opportunities to. That’s the first MUST in using traffic exchanges effectively.

The second thing you need to do is know which traffic exchanges are hot. For that, we have Affiliate Funnel’s Ranking Report. This report ranks the top traffic exchanges based on user experience and user votes. It also shows other important stats… you can check out the report to see what they are. ;)

So now you know what you should be promoting, and you know which traffic exchanges to promote it on. The last thing you need to do is test, test… oh, and test. Test your results with each traffic exchange and make sure your work is paying off in the end.

webtrafficTraffic exchanges are a great way to increase web traffic. If you’re not familiar with what traffic exchanges are, they’re basically a website where you “surf” other member’s web pages in exchange for credits. The credits you accumulate are used to show your web pages to other members.

The concept is very simple. Most traffic exchanges also make use of banners and links that you can show to other members using your credits. The amount of credits you earn will depend on the ratio that is used, but this varies per traffic exchange. And, many give out bonus credits or freebie credits to members.

Traffic Exchanges can be used to bring in targeted traffic to your web pages. There is a time limit on how long members have to view a web page, so this is your chance to get your offer seen by hundreds if not thousands of potential prospects. The minimum time is around seven seconds, with some traffic exchanges being as high as 15 seconds.

If you have a site or web page that could use an increase in web traffic, then traffic exchanges are a great way to get it. All it takes is signing up to the most popular exchanges and spending an hour or so surfing for credits.

You may be wondering what the popular traffic exchanges are. Well, that’s going to be explained in my next post when I discuss how to best use Traffic Exchanges and get maximum results for your efforts.

So, stay tuned for my next post!
