Video Tutorial - How to delete date and time stamps from your Blogger blog

This video shows how to delete the date and time stamps from all posts and comments.

Why would you want to do that? Watch the video to find out.

This is my first tutorial video, so I'm still learning ;)

P.S. Also shown is the line of code needed to change the Blog Backlink Control from "nofollow" to "dofollow" as I talked about in my Are You Using the No-Follow Tag on Your Blog? post.

Update:

The "rel="nofollow" tag can be deleted all together. In the video I just changed it to "follow," but I don't think it should be that way.

This is a touchy subject it seems. It's up to you whether you want your blog comment links to get any Google juice.

As for the date and time stamps, use your own discretion if you want to delete them or not. I feel it is better for your visitors NOT to see them.

Hi, Alan:

Thanks for the video tutorial. Interesting and informative!

In it, you also showed how to remove the "nofollow" code. I don't seem to have any of that code in my blog template. I am going to post a question for you at the Warrior Forum about this.

Again, thanks for the info in his tutorial.

Hi, GT,

If you don't have the code don't worry about it then. As long as you don't have the "nofollow" tags, all of your links will be followed.

The tag in my video should be "dofollow" or just deleted all together.

Here are some good resources on the subject:

Hope that helps,

Alan
